tamara!

Tamara Golden has been passionate about color for as long as she can remember. Her love for colored glass, in particular, was fueled by years of living in Italy and traveling throughout Europe. There she was struck by the beauty of cathedral stained glass windows in France, Britain and Italy, the brilliant Byzantine glass mosaics of Ravenna, and the unique look and style of Murano glass.

It was pure luck—or perhaps fate—that Tamara happened upon glass fusion. While taking an interior design class, she had an idea for a unique glass panel that led her to the showroom of Monique Feldman, a glass fusion artist working out of Burlington, MA. Tamara was hooked from day one and, after a few lessons, in July of 2004 she set up a studio in the basement of her residence in Somerville, MA.

When not creating glass fusion art, Tamara offers life and career coaching to a wide spectrum of clients looking to realize their life dreams and career goals. In addition to her professional pursuits, you can often catch Tamara twirling on a nearby dance floor, traveling to places yet unseen, or basking in the company of good friends.
